There isn't much to discuss about this project. We were testing different types of motor encoders, both magnetic and optical. I designed this fixture so that we could fix the small motor at different heights above the encoder disk and switch the position of it so it can be tested above each one of the three encoders. I actually was able to do some early testing of an optical encoder design way before this pcb was created, which I highlight in my portfolio as well.
