For this project I wanted to create a nice infinity mirror as a birthday gift. I wanted it to be functional as an actual mirror, with the ability to turn into an infinity through the use of internal LED's.

I sketched out the design on my iPad, with the desired dimensions. I ordered all the materials from online vendors as well as small businesses around me.

My uncle helped me with this project and it was my first exposure to using a miter saw and table saw.

The back plate of the assembly housed an actual mirror, and the front plate held a two way mirror, so that light could pass through partially and the infinity effect could be seen.

After finishing the two frames, I glued and clamped in the side barriers to the mirror and let it dry. After I clamped it together I installed the LED's. I painted the inside of the mirror all black so that the infinity effect would be pronounced more dramatically. The finished product came out really well and I was proud of how it came out.
